MARIEROSEEEE

Skincare:

I think skincare is an essential part to looking and feeling good, when your skin looks clear you feel so much better, right? I think it’s a crucial part if you want your makeup to look flawless.

My go-to skincare isn’t extensive, but I find it works for me and I’m always looking for new components to it, but as such here are a few of my favourites:

-“Simple Kind To Skin Rich Moisturiser” it’s a classic, and I've used it since I was around 13, but as someone who has combination and sensitive skin, it works so well for me. It keeps my skin hydrated without leaving that oily film, meaning I can apply it and don’t have to wait hours before I am able to put the rest of my makeup on

-“La Roche-Posay Toleriane ULTRA” this has been one of my holy grail finds. It’s definitely on the pricier side however I apply it every night and it just helps targets the process of skin irritation, naturally soothes the skin and reduces redness.

-“Mario Bedescu Drying Lotion” if you can’t tell already I have quite spot prone skin but the Drying Lotion provides immediate relief from break-outs and blemishes, making it my skincare must have. It basically reduces the size of spots overnight, however I find it quite intensive so I wouldn’t use it everynight, just when needed.

Makeup:

I adore makeup and always have from a young age, I tend to have a mixture of high-street and high-end favourites rattling around in my makeup bag so I'll share a few of my favourites:

-Foundation: I have had a multitude of foundations, from the dreaded Dream Matte Mouse when I was 12, to expensive brands like Nars, however I always go back to my favourite foundation which is “L’Oreal Infalliable 24 hour matte foundation”, I picked this foundation up a few years ago on a bit of a whim and since then I’ve probably bought around 6! Its my favourite foundation for giving a flawless natural base, as it has a medium coverage, it doesn’t crease and last a full night-out (my way of analysing if a foundation is truly impressive).

-“Maybelline Lash Sensational” i.e THE BEST MASCARA EVER. Maybelline mascaras have always been my favourite, but this one seriously trumps all. It gives length as well as volume, and its so quick! I don’t have to spend 20 minutes applying layers upon layers of mascara inorder to get that full lash looks; a few coats of this mascara and I’m good to go.

-“Revolution Highlighter – Golden Lights” – highlighter is every girls weakness, if you’re into a full strong highlighter then you should definitely pick this highlighter up from superdrug, because it really incredible. Its so inexpensive too! Obviously it does have a golden undertone so if you prefer a rosier highlight, then they also have lots of shades, but the formulation is the key to making your highlighter pop.

-“Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade” – when I first saw these, I was really intrigued about whether they were worth the hype and when I first bought mine I was still abit sceptical, but now I wouldn’t be able to my makeup without it. It gives the best sculpted eyebrows and you can build its intensity which is my favourite – not wearing much makeup? That’s fine I can just give a natural brow, going out? Perfect, because I can build it up and make them look full, angled and on fleek haha.
